Susan G Komen for the Cure Mid-Kansas Affiliate’s community profile plays an integral part in providing a map to the Affiliate’s presence and work in the 95 counties in the Affiliate’s service area.

Breast cancer is a complicated disease; the Mid-Kansas Affiliate cannot possibly attack all of its facets at one time. The community profile is a tool to help determine the areas of most need and focus efforts where the work of the Affiliate can have the most significant impact. It establishes the need for a target for community education programs, priorities for funding grants, a guide for decision-making, strategic planning and fundraising.
